Dr. Brieger is a Texas A&M graduate earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medicine Association and the Coastal Bend Veterinary Medicine Association. His loving and supportive family consists of his wife of thirty-five years, two daughters, one son and seven grandchildren. When he’s not working or spending time with his grandbabies, he enjoys traveling, fishing and running marathons/ultra-marathons.
Amanda has been with Alamosa for a total of 15 years and counting! She keeps the team motivated with her ambitious, positive attitude. She has one of the biggest hearts and always takes time to step away from her desk and show our patients some love and affection. When she is not working or tending to her pack of animals, she enjoys fishing, trips to the lake and much more!
Amber began her career at Alamosa in 2001 and since then has acquired impressive skills and knowledge and has worked very hard to earn her title as manager. From reception to employee management and training, she always has a smile on her face and is a great asset to the team. In her free time she enjoys fishing, reading and caring for her farm animals.
Katelynn is another one of our newest team members- known as the “youngster” of the team. She is currently enrolled in college and has earned her Associates degree and is now working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business. Outside of work she is an avid video game collector and enjoys reading.
Nadine began her vet med career with Alamosa over 5 years ago. She has always had a deep love for animals and describes this as her “dream job”. When she’s not busy caring for patients she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends and traveling.
Samantha has been working in Veterinary medicine for 4 years. She has worked with everything from lizards and birds to pigs and horses. When she is not hard at work caring for patients, she enjoys dog-shows and spending time with her MANY animals.
Carey has devoted 9 years to caring for cats and dogs (2 years with Alamosa) and says she LOVES everything about her job. Not only does she keep our patients happy but her funny sarcasm and bubbly attitude make for a happy environment for her fellow colleagues. She enjoys spending time with her 2 rescue dogs and going to the beach on her free time.
